For more than a decade, Kelly Baldwin Christensen served the students of Three Rivers School district as a teacher then Vice Principal at Hidden Valley before moving on to become Principal at Fruitdale Elementary. In August 2011, Kelly lost his battle with cancer leaving behind a wonderful family, along with a wide network of friends, colleagues, and students who were inspired by him. In March of 2013, we put together the Kelly Christensen Memorial Scholarship to help continue Mr. C’s legacy of commitment to others, integrity, and passion. Through the support of the Josephine Country Education Fund, faculty at Hidden Valley, and the generous donors who fondly remember Kelly we were able to establish and award our scholarship for the first time on May 22, 2013.

  • Extraordinary devotion to others exhibited through leadership, community service.
  • Dedication to self-improvement through extracurricular activities.
  • A passion for education a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Demonstrated Leadership
